What is a reverse IP lookup?
A reverse IP lookup takes an IP address and returns the domain names that point to it. It shows which websites share a server — the opposite of a normal DNS lookup, which turns a domain into an IP.
How do I find other websites on the same server as a domain?
Enter the domain name instead of an IP. The tool resolves it to its IPv4 address first, then lists every other domain hosted on that IP. If the domain uses several IPs you can switch between them.
What does shared hosting mean?
Shared hosting means many websites run on one server and share its IP address. It is cheap and common for small sites. A dedicated server or VPS usually hosts one site or a handful of sites owned by the same person.
Why are some websites missing from the results?
The list comes from a passive DNS index that is built by crawling public DNS. Brand-new sites, sites behind a CDN and domains that are never publicly linked may not appear yet. Results are a strong sample, not a guaranteed complete list.
Why do I see thousands of unrelated sites on a Cloudflare IP?
CDNs such as Cloudflare put huge numbers of customer sites behind the same shared edge IPs. Those sites do not share an origin server, so the tool warns you when an IP belongs to a CDN.
Does reverse IP lookup work for IPv6?
